Handmade at home, your noodles will have the perfect, fresh, chewy texture and bite that make Udon so unique. Together we’ll knead the dough from scratch, handmake the noodles and cook a delicious soup to enjoy them with.

About this Class

Making top quality Udon noodles is the focus of this class. We’ll prepare a simple Udon dough and learn how to knead it by foot (all well wrapped and super clean of course).

Alongside the Udon, we will make a delicious soup from scratch too. You will learn to make dashi (the stock base), a flavourful sauce and aubergine topping. The dashi and aubergine can be used for other recipes, so this is a great chance to widen your Japanese cooking skills.

There'll be time for Q&A's along the way and plenty of tips. Upon booking, you'll receive a link to the Zoom meeting and a Class Guide (PDF) that will contain your shopping list, tips and the recipes for you to refer to ....and scribble notes on during the class.
