Celebrate the tasty sweetness of stir-fried Ishikura onions, in this filling, delicious dish with vegetables and egg noodles. We’ll also make roast cauliflower with Dengaku sauce, which can be enjoyed on its own or to top the stir-fry.
 

ISHIKURA ONION & Dengaku Cauliflower NOODLES - Cookalong

 

Welcome to Grow with Yakult at Yuki’s Kitchen, we are thrilled to be running these unique Cookalongs based around five, delicious Japanese vegetables or salad leaves.

This second session focuses on Ishikura Onions, a tall, skinny bunching onion, full of wonderful sweet flavour when sautéed. Hopefully you’ve had some success growing your own Ishikura onions with #GrowWithYakult and have a bunch to hand, ready for using this dish. If not, you can always swap them out with spring onions or baby leeks as an alternative.
