Class Description

These classes are a tasty introduction to traditional Japanese seafood. During the class you will learn how to prepare a range of dishes including Teriyaki salmon and other authentic seafood dishes. You will learn how to make different types of sauces, steamed Japanese rice or noodles and Japanese stocks or Dashi. In addition, Yuki will teach you vegetable cutting, fish preparation techniques and skills You will also learn to cook seasonal vegetables dishes as a side.

Yuki will introduce Japanese ingredients and spices and where to find ingredients locally. She will also show you how to present the food, set the table and discuss relevant Japanese culture. Food made during the class can be enjoyed for lunch afterwards.
